About Kavit Mody

As a visual artist and a filmmaker, Kavit draws inspiration from real life stories and the media world. His versatile experience and passion in creative writing, drawing, painting, sculpting and photography brings a fresh sense of aesthetic to the screen. His fluid cinematic style and a strong storytelling skills captivate audiences visually and emotionally. Primarily working as a film director, his experience covers a range of functions from conceptualizing (scripting) to production. His specialty lies in narrative storytelling, automobile, animation and beauty films.

AWARDS:

After graduating from Queensland University of Technology, Australia, he wrote, directed and produced a short film, “For Your Eyes” that won the Most Promising New Filmmaker award, Highly Commended Actress and the Best Film-Drama at Queensland New Filmmaker Awards (QNFA in Australia). He was selected for Festival 5 sur 5, a documentary residency program in Belgium.
